Builder-Turned-Streamer Chud Freed After Two Months Behind Bars

After a grueling two-month stint in the Montgomery County Jail, popular streamer Dalton Eatherly, famously known as Chud The Builder, is now tasting freedom. Sources close to the situation confirm that Chud was released from his cell on Monday morning following the posting of his $1 million bail. A representative for the Montgomery County Circuit Criminal Court disclosed that ten different bail bonds services each took responsibility for $100,000 of the total bond amount, with Chud contributing 10% personally. The arrest of Chud, who gained notoriety for his construction-themed streaming content, stemmed from a May 13 shooting outside the Montgomery County courthouse. Police authorities charged him with attempted murder following the incident, although Chud maintains that he acted in self-defense after being assaulted outside the courthouse. Remarkably, Chud was injured during the altercation and photographs show him being wheeled away on a stretcher. However, this isn't the only legal issue facing the streamer as he also faces charges out of Davidson County, connected to an alleged incident at a Nashville steakhouse where he reportedly caused a scene, walked out without paying a nearly $400 tab, and resisted arrest. Prosecutors have since indicted Chud for theft of services, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Both cases have now been forwarded to a grand jury for review, as per local news station WSMV.
