Christopher Nolan's epic Greek saga, The Odyssey, held firm in second place with a fourth Friday gross of $8.8 million from domestic theaters. By Sunday, it is predicted to bring in $30.5 million, showing a modest 40% drop from its previous week's total. Through the weekend, North American revenues for The Odyssey are expected to reach an impressive $460 million. Three newcomers joined the fray at the box office on Friday: Searchlight's Super Troopers 3, Universal's One Night Only, and Iconic Event's Ice Cream Man. One Night Only, a romantic comedy starring Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro, performed the best of the trio, securing third place with $2.8 million on Friday from 3,012 domestic screens. The film is projected to earn $6 million by Sunday. One Night Only follows the tale of two hopeless romantics who find a connection on the one night of the year when singles are legally allowed to engage in sexual activities. The Broken Lizard threequel about a group of New England highway patrol officers is projected to make around $3.9 million by Sunday's end. Lastly, Eli Roth's horror flick, Ice Cream Man, opened in eighth place with a domestic gross of $1 million from 1,090 locations. The film is expected to earn about $2.1 million by the weekend's close. Finally, Toy Story 5 took fifth place, adding an additional $1.15 million as it enters its eighth weekend in cinemas. By Sunday, rival studios have projected that the legacy sequel will earn around $4.1 million, bringing its domestic haul to approximately $470.5 million.
