Rock Legend Rod Stewart Postpones Tour Dates Following Successful Coronary Stent Procedure

Legendary rocker Rod Stewart has been forced to postpone the next four weeks of his "One Last Time" farewell tour and Las Vegas residency, following a successful coronary stent procedure. The news comes just days after the British crooner unexpectedly delayed a show in Cincinnati due to a minor medical procedure. In a statement, Stewart's representative confirmed that the 81-year-old singer underwent the procedure and is now recovering well, engaging in his normal daily activities. However, to ensure full recovery before returning to the stage, he has been advised to take some time off. "I'm already feeling better and very much on the mend," said Stewart in a statement. "I want to express my gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and everyone who has provided me with exceptional care during this time. I'm deeply sorry to disappoint my fans and regret having to miss these shows, but I look forward to rejoining them all soon." In early June, Stewart canceled two Las Vegas performances upon doctor's advice. He later postponed a show in San Diego before taking the stage and paused mid-show at a subsequent concert in Utah to use an oxygen tank backstage. Stewart embarked on his "One Last Time" tour with Richard Marx in 2024, with plans to perform tonight at Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, a show which was canceled yesterday. He was also scheduled to perform this weekend at Kansas City's Starlight Theatre and return to Vegas on August 18 for a string of shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace through the end of the month. Further dates in Minnesota, Illinois, and Mexico were also affected. Information about refunds or rescheduled performances will be provided by the venues and promoters associated with Stewart's shows. Fans are encouraged to visit the respective venue websites for more information regarding their specific tickets and events. Stewart has continued to captivate audiences worldwide with his iconic voice and legendary stage presence. We wish him a swift and complete recovery and look forward to seeing him back on stage soon!
