Mina's younger sister confirmed her passing via an Instagram Story the following day. "My dear older sister, who was always kind and warm to everyone she met, has left us," the message read. "I respectfully ask that you remember my sister in your thoughts and prayers." The lead-up to Mina's death saw her facing brutal criticism from ENHYPEN fans, sparked by an interaction during the boy band's show last month in the US. Mina had attempted to have band member Sunoo pass flowers to fellow Japanese member Ni-ki, but some fans accused her of overstepping boundaries.
