Kristen Stewart Shares Intimate Bond with Wife Dylan Meyer on New Film Project

In a heartwarming display of love and creativity, Hollywood powerhouse Kristen Stewart and her wife Dylan Meyer have joined forces for their new film project, The Wrong Girls. Not only does the movie mark a significant directorial debut for Meyer, but it also showcases the profound bond between the couple. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Stewart opened up about working with her partner, revealing that collaborating on such projects is her preferred form of intimacy. "Making something with somebody is my favorite form of intimacy," she shared, "I think when movies are really good...it's like an act of love." Stewart further explained that working with close friends and family makes perfect sense to her, as it allows her to pour her heart into the creation process. When Fallon inquired about any concerns regarding working so closely with Meyer, Stewart responded with confidence, "I’m a sort of exceptionally demanding and direct person, so no." As for any potential opposition to their collaboration, Stewart noted that she has always been a force to be reckoned with. "I was just like, ‘You’re going to make the movie without me? No.’" The couple, who wed in an intimate Los Angeles ceremony in April 2025 after six years together, first went public in October 2019. Since then, they have been open about their relationship and shared milestones, such as Stewart confirming their engagement during a November 2021 appearance on The Howard Stern Show. Stewart has consistently praised Meyer's vision for the film, particularly highlighting her expertise in curating an exceptional soundtrack. In true Hollywood fashion, Stewart described Meyer as a "cool girl." In a March 2024 interview on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Stewart confirmed that she and Meyer were considering starting a family. They have already taken steps to prepare for this potential future, with Stewart sharing, "We’ve done really annoying things, like freeze our eggs and stuff…[We’re] keeping that open." The Wrong Girls is set to hit theaters on August 14, offering audiences a unique glimpse into the love story between Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer both on and off the screen.
