Paris Jackson Opens Up About Unconventional First Meeting with Mom Debbie Rowe at Age 15

In an exclusive interview, Paris Jackson recounted the surprising encounter that marked her first meeting with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe, at the tender age of fifteen. "I remember walking downstairs and there she was in our living room with my grandmother," the 28-year-old shared on the popular podcast "Call Her Daddy" last Wednesday. "I strolled in, just casually said 'Hey Mom'." When host Alex Cooper asked if she had referred to Rowe as mom right away, Jackson confirmed with a nod. Rowe, who is 67 years old, gave birth to Jackson and the late Michael Jackson's eldest son, Prince, in 1997 and 1998 respectively. The pair divorced in 2000, leaving Rowe's custody rights behind, with Michael gaining full custody of their children. During this initial encounter, Paris fondly remembered, "We chatted for a bit before heading out for the day to simply hang out." Paris attributes their affinity to their shared astrological sign, Sagittarius (Rowe) and Aries (Paris), as they both embody strong, fiery personalities. Speaking about her mindset in relationships, Paris emphasized that she learned to avoid unrealistic expectations, which can lead to disappointment or resentment. Instead, she enters relationships without any preconceived notions, creating a space for organic connections to flourish. Over the years, Paris' approach to handling her super-secretive childhood with her late father, Michael, Prince, and younger brother Bigi (now 24) has become more refined. As she elaborated on their bond during the interview, she touched upon intriguing details like wearing masks in public to allow them to enjoy normal experiences such as visiting Chuck E. Cheese. The siblings were also restricted from watching TV during the week, only allowed to do so after completing their chores and homework over the weekends. Jackson fondly recalled her father, who passed away at the age of 50 in 2009, as a "really funny guy" and affectionately referred to herself as his "little princess." This candid interview not only provided insights into Paris' unique upbringing but also shed light on the unexpected reunion with her mother.
