The New Faces of Hollywood: Kaia Gerber and Homer Gere Steal the Show on Vogue's September Cover

Step aside, A-listers! The next generation of stars is here, and they're turning heads. In a nod to their iconic parents Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere, up-and-coming actors Kaia Gerber and Homer Gere grace the September cover of Vogue, looking every inch the stars they were destined to become. The young duo, who share the screen in FX's "The Shards," pose for photographer Steven Meisel in a series of stunning shots that are nothing short of iconic. Kaia dons a metallic Chanel skirt suit, while Homer rocks a pair of jeans with a tie and blazer, both outfits perfectly embodying the prep school setting of the Ryan Murphy production. The spread continues with a collection of images that pay homage to the '80s—the era in which their new TV series is set. In one photo, Kaia stuns in a red silk and black lace gown from Valentino, while another sees her draped in an oversized Dolce & Gabbana pinstriped suit. Homer wears a variety of suits from designers such as Giorgio Armani and Saint Laurent. But this isn't the first time the supermodel and the actor—who were married from 1991 to 1995—have appeared together in Vogue. Back in 1992, they posed for the glossy, with wind whipping through their hair as they stood beachside, arms wrapped around each other. Crawford later went on to marry Kaia's father, Rande Gerber, in 1998, and Gere wed Homer's mother, Carey Lowell, in 2002. Though Kaia has been modeling since she was 10 and bears a striking resemblance to her mother, Homer is new to Hollywood—but he's not alone in his pursuit of stardom. Richard Gere offered some words of wisdom ahead of his son's Vogue interview, saying, "I said to him, ‘Homer, unfortunately with this show, it’s not like you’re just any unknown actor and people will judge you as an unknown actor. But what that’s done for me is make me want to work harder.'" Kaia, on the other hand, shared her own strategy for avoiding the pitfalls of nepotism. "I never wanted to be that child coming in and ruining all the hard work they've done," she explained. "I wasn’t a partier in high school. My mom was valedictorian, so I was like, Okay, well then me too." With their stunning good looks and undeniable talent, it's no surprise that Kaia Gerber and Homer Gere are following in their parents' footsteps and making a name for themselves in Hollywood. Get ready to see these two rise to the top!
