"Kellan Lutz Opens Up About His Move From California to Tennessee"

In an exclusive interview with Michael Rosenbaum on "Inside of You", Kellan Lutz, the heartthrob from 'Twilight', revealed the reason behind his departure from sunny California three years ago. Lutz shared that it was their second child that prompted the family's relocation to Tennessee. "I have a deep affection for California," he admitted, "But our move to Tennessee happened when we welcomed our second child." Their new home was in Orange County, a place close to Brittany Lutz's heart, as she was born and raised there. However, post-pandemic, many Californians, including Brittany's family, decided to leave the bustling state for calmer pastures. Lutz explained that the primary reason for their move was to provide his wife with a support system when he had to travel for work, leaving her behind with their children. "One of our kids fell ill," he shared, "My wife felt helpless and wanted to relocate. And I couldn't agree more." He also mentioned that other fathers in his circle advised him that new mothers often prefer moving closer to their own families for childcare support. After deciding to move, they settled in Tennessee, a decision they've since been happy with. Lutz praised the community in Franklin, Tennessee, where they now reside. "There's a strong sense of community here," he said, "I've attended more movie premieres in Franklin than I have in LA over the past couple of years." Despite loving their new home, Lutz admitted that there are challenges. "We aren't seasons people," he confessed, "We've had to adapt to tornado warnings, especially when you have kids in tow. And we do miss our favorite sushi and Mexican food from California." Whether this move is permanent remains to be seen, but for now, Lutz seems content with their decision. "We own some land here, participate in great Bible studies, attend wonderful churches, and are part of a wonderful community," he said.
