Judge Nixes Ray J's Motion to Dismiss Defamation Lawsuit by Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner

In a surprising twist in the ongoing legal saga, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has denied Ray J's plea to dismiss the defamation lawsuit filed against him by none other than media mogul Kris Jenner and her daughter, global icon Kim Kardashian. The lawsuit, originally filed in February, alleges that Ray J harmed their reputations through false statements about them – specifically, accusations of federal racketeering investigations and comparisons to music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs. Ray J contested the defamation charges, maintaining that his statements were exaggerated opinions and that he believed he had ended a live stream when in fact he was still on air. However, the judge deemed that a reasonable person might interpret these statements as assertions of fact, and furthermore, Ray J was aware the live stream was still active at the time of his comments.
