Prepare Yourself for the Highly Anticipated Return of 'SNL U.K.'!

Get ready to laugh, sing and chuckle your way through another season of hilarity as Saturday Night Live U.K. is set to make its grand comeback this September! The much-loved sketch comedy series will premiere on Sky and Now on the 12th of next month, boasting a fresh batch of six episodes filled with celebrity hosts, musical guests, and satirical sketches that are sure to tickle your funny bone. To add to the excitement, a brand-new trailer has been unveiled for the new season, hinting at even more side-splitting humor that will leave you in stitches! And that's not all - there's more to come in early 2027, with additional episodes scheduled beyond the initial run of six. If you're a fan of the show and are eager to secure your spot in the audience, make sure to mark August 14th in your calendars! That's when tickets for the new season will be up for grabs via ballot. In terms of the confirmed air dates, mark your calendars for September 12, 19, 26, October 10, 17 and 24 – these are the nights you won't want to miss! The returning cast members include Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young. Each episode will feature a new celebrity host partnered with a musical guest, as well as live musical performances and a unique British twist on the iconic "Weekend Update." There have been some notable changes behind the scenes for this upcoming season. Laura Claxton steps up as co-head writer alongside Jonno Johnson, who remains head writer. Liz Clare will once again direct the series, while Heather MacVean joins the team as costume designer for the first time, and Sinead Oldnall takes charge of onscreen talent for the U.K. production. Universal Television Alternative Studio's U.K. arm and Broadway Video continue to produce the series for Sky and NOW, with Lorne Michaels executive producing and James Longman leading production. Helen Kruger Bratt heads up UTAS U.K. Productions as managing director, with Andy Charles Smith producing for the label, Shanna Baynard overseeing production, and Hannah Peddar serving as production executive. Phil Edgar-Jones, Sky's executive director of unscripted originals, commissioned the series, with Alex Moody, the broadcaster's head of comedy commissioning, handling the second-season order for Sky Studios CEO and chief content officer Cecile Frot-Coutaz.
