Teddi Mellencamp's Romantic Whirlwind: Meeting Her Dad, Ex, and New Beau All in One Weekend

In an exclusive chat on iHeartRadio's "Two T’s in a Pod" podcast, reality star Teddi Mellencamp shared the details of an eventful weekend that saw her introducing her new beau to both her legendary father John Mellencamp and her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave. Speaking about the encounter with her dad on August 12th, Teddi, 45, revealed, "He took it all in stride; my brothers, my sisters, even me, we were all there.

My dad met him, but he was a little quiet at first. I think he was trying to size him up, and then the next day, he comes over, lights up a cigar, and asks if I'd kept his new friend a secret from him!" The following Monday, Teddi and her mystery man – affectionately dubbed "Valley Guy" by podcast listeners – attended John Mellencamp's performance at the Hollywood Bowl.

Joining them were close family members like Kyle Richards, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening under the stars in Los Angeles. When co-host Dolores Catania inquired about Edwin's reaction to meeting Valley Guy at the concert, Teddi laughed and shared, "Well, Edwin certainly didn't hold back with a little jab. He said something along the lines of 'Oh, it looks like you finished your finals in time.' And Valley Guy just retorted with a confident 'It was a presentation.'" The following day, Teddi went Instagram official with her new man and even revealed his name for the first time: PJ Conley.

With PJ Conley's page private, Teddi joked that he might continue to be referred to as Valley Guy on the podcast. "I think we should keep his nickname – Valley Guy. It suits him!
