Exclusive Update: Where Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour Stand After Scandalous 'Next Gen NYC' Hookup

After shocking viewers with their steamy hookup on 'Next Gen NYC', Ariana Biermann and Charlie Zakkour are reportedly taking some time apart. In an exclusive interview with Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea", co-star Shai Fruchter opened up about the current status of his fellow cast members. According to Fruchter, 25, the second season of 'Next Gen NYC' has been nothing short of dramatic, leaving both Ariana and Charlie in a confusing state.

"There's so much that's happened since filming that it's hard to keep track of," said Fruchter. "It's just so many mixed emotions coming in at once that when it's that overwhelming, you kind of have to keep things a little cordial and separate for a bit." An insider confirmed to Page Six earlier this year that the pair did indeed hook up while filming season two of 'Next Gen NYC'.

The source revealed that the situation will be explored further in the second half of the season. The hookup came as a surprise, especially since Ariana had previously been dating Hudson McLeroy on and off for nearly a decade. The pair called it quits in October 2025, but briefly rekindled their romance earlier this year before splitting again. Following the breakup, Charlie Zakkour, 31, wasn't the only one trying to win Ariana over.

'Next Gen NYC' newcomer Liam Obergfoll had also taken her on several dates and even introduced her to his family during filming. As for where things currently stand with Charlie, it seems that Ariana may be interested in giving things another go with her fellow cast member Liam. In a recent interview with Page Six, Liam revealed that he and Ariana are "talking" and "having fun" while keeping things casual.
