Armie Hammer and Reagan Newman Part Ways Amidst Fast-Paced Romance

In a surprising turn of events, the whirlwind romance between actor Armie Hammer and social media strategist Reagan Newman has reportedly come to an end. The pair ignited dating rumors when they were spotted locking lips at Pace restaurant in Hollywood Hills in mid-June. It was reported that they had been on multiple dates within just a few weeks, having met through their mutual stylist friend. However, it seems that the passion between them has fizzled out as quickly as it began. "They've cooled things down," says a source close to the situation. "It was a mutual decision. It was intense and happened very fast, but they both needed to hit the brakes." The insider went on to explain that Hammer needs to focus on his career, while Newman needs to attend to her own professional pursuits. A representative for Newman confirmed that the two remain friends and are in good standing with each other. Hammer's representatives did not respond to requests for comment. Newman, whose LinkedIn profile lists her as a fashion stylist, social media strategist, luxury fashion coordinator, photo director, influencer, and fit model for luxury brands, doesn't seem to be taking a break from dating. She has been sharing her preparations for dates on TikTok, and last week she posted about going on a second date. When a commenter inquired whether she was dating Armie Hammer, Newman responded with a firm "No mama." It's unclear whether the duo's split is permanent or if there are plans for a potential reunion down the line. In the meantime, Hammer has been making an attempt at a career comeback. He is currently starring in the controversial film "Citizen Vigilante," where his character goes on a gruesome killing spree against immigrants. The "Call Me By Your Name" actor was dropped by his agent and lost several film roles in 2021 following allegations of sexual misconduct, including claims that he sent disturbing text messages about BDSM and cannibalistic fantasies. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office announced in 2023 that it would not be pursuing any case against Hammer regarding a rape allegation brought by one woman. Hammer's attorney previously stated to Page Six that his client "maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie] — and every other sexual partner of his, for that matter — have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory." Since then, Hammer has launched a podcast called "The Armie HammerTime Podcast," and he appeared in the 2025 movie "Frontier Crucible." He was reportedly engaged to a woman named Marina Gris in October 2023 but split with her by January 2024. Hammer was previously married to Elizabeth Chambers, with whom he announced his separation in July 2020. As for Newman, she continues to make a name for herself in the fashion and entertainment industries, with no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
