Matt Bellamy and Elle Evans' Love Story Unfolds - From Engagement to Separation

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and his wife, Elle Evans, experienced a rollercoaster romance that spanned seven years. Their fairytale began on the set of the music video for "Mercy" in 2015, where Evans played an android, and culminated in their stunning Malibu wedding in August 2019. The couple shared a series of memorable moments, including Burning Man escapades, Grammy Award celebrations, and matching Grease costumes at a party hosted by Bellamy's ex-partner Kate Hudson.
Evans later gave birth to their daughter Lovella Dawn in June 2020, expanding the family further. The joy was short-lived as rumors of separation circulated in 2025. However, it wasn't until the following year that Bellamy confirmed the end of their marriage after seven years together. Reflecting on the unexpected circumstances that led to their split, he told The i Paper, "It's one of those situations that involves something that people wouldn’t normally think it is." Two months later, in August 2026, Bellamy filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
He also sought legal and physical custody of their two children, Lovella and Bingham, from his previous relationship with Hudson. Throughout their time together, Bellamy and Evans shared a multitude of cherished moments, which included trips to the U.K. and Russia, Coachella adventures, and even a teddy bear-themed first birthday party for Lovella. As they embark on new chapters in their lives, fans can't help but reminisce about this once-perfect union that brought forth two beautiful additions to the Bellamy family.
