Michael Jackson Estate Triumphs in Court as Child Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Heads to Arbitration

In a landmark decision that could further solidify the legacy of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson's estate has emerged victorious in a heated court battle against four former child companions who accused the late music icon of rape and molestation. The ruling, made by a federal judge in California on Wednesday, mandates that the disputes between the Cascio siblings - Edward, Dominic, Marie-Nicole, and Aldo - and the MJ estate be settled through private arbitration rather than a public court trial.

The close-knit relationship between the Cascio family and Michael Jackson dates back to their childhood days when they considered him as an extension of their own family. However, the idyllic picture was shattered when allegations of pedophilia against the pop star surfaced, causing a significant rift in their bond. The siblings stood by MJ for years, defending him fiercely against the accusations.

But everything took a drastic turn in February 2026, when they filed a child sex trafficking lawsuit against Jackson's estate, claiming that he had abused them for more than a decade. The siblings attributed their change of heart to the HBO documentary "Leaving Neverland," which allegedly deprogrammed them from their earlier support of MJ. The Jackson estate vehemently denied all sexual assault accusations and reached a reported $3.5 million settlement with the Cascio siblings.

The settlement included an arbitration clause, which now forms the basis of the recent court ruling that will send the case to private arbitration. Howard King, attorney for the Cascio siblings, expressed his disappointment in the judge's decision, stating, "It is unfortunate and not unexpected that the determination on whether the Cascios were coerced into signing an unreasonable agreement with an arbitration clause will be made behind closed doors rather than in a court of law." King further added, "The family had hoped for a public trial over the decades-long molestations of the Cascio siblings by Michael Jackson and the subsequent cover-up by his advisors.

Instead, the family will seek justice in the secluded confines of an arbitration hearing room." MJ's estate declined to comment on the matter when approached by our magazine. As the saga between the two parties unfolds, fans and critics alike remain divided over the implications this decision may have for Michael Jackson's tarnished reputation and the legacy he leaves behind.
